A little help, when you need it.

Open Amidly and enter a valid licence key on the activation screen. First activation happens in the app and requires internet. Once activated, connect each WhatsApp account by scanning its QR code from your phone.

To view your licence status later, open Settings > Licence, or open the licence portal.

Licence access lasts up to seven days after a successful online check, or until your licence expires, whichever comes first. The app checks again on startup and wake, and periodically while running.

WhatsApp still needs internet to send and receive messages. If licence access expires, your saved sessions, settings and Later cues remain on your Mac.

On the old Mac, open Settings > Licence and choose Deactivate this Mac. Confirm while connected to the internet. A successful deactivation frees that Mac’s activation and keeps its WhatsApp sessions, settings and images saved.

You can then use your valid licence key to activate Amidly on the new Mac, within your licence’s activation limit. If deactivation fails, the app keeps the existing credentials and does not report that an activation was freed.

Sign in to the licence portal with the email recorded against your licence. Open the sign-in link sent to your inbox, then choose Continue. Choose Release Mac on the old activation and confirm to free its slot. You do not need your licence code to manage your account.

Releasing an activation does not delete chats or settings. An offline Mac may retain access until its next licence check or its existing offline access expires, at most seven days.

WhatsApp sessions, account preferences, custom images and private Later cues stay locally. Later contains follow-up notes you write yourself; it does not copy or archive chats or send automatic replies.

Chats connect directly to WhatsApp. Licence checks use a separate service and do not send your chats, contacts or account images.
